ESI Computing specializes in “high-performance” real-time applications. Our typical customer is an early adopter of new technology for national defense programs and mission critical, enterprise wide, real-time applications. Real-time can be defined in many different ways.

Occasionally, our customers are affectionately referred to as the “speed freaks and the lunatic fringe” because their requirements are always pushing the edge of current technology. For example, our customers are upgrading radar ranges in the Pacific and Caribbean test ranges to add faster features for Homeland Defense and Missile Defense; designing next generation military aircraft engines for the

Air Forces’ JFS Program; developing software defined radio hardware for Army’s WIN-T Program; and adding voice over IP to secure army communications networks and the new Public Safety 911 Answering Center for the New York Fire Department.
